Appendix A — Interface Reference (I65 Suite)

Goal: Enumerate and standardize all implementation-bound interfaces I65-* in this volume—their function prototypes, I/O, and invariants—so that dual forms (analytic/config vs. observed/realized) are published in parallel, dimensions are checked, RefCond is traceable, and manifests are persistable and replayable.

I. Overview & Conventions

• Numbering & versions
  Interfaces are numbered I65-xx. Semantic versions (semver) are written into manifests (see Appendix C). Breaking changes require a major bump and a diff/migration script.
• Dual-form parallelism (mandatory)
  Any “evaluate/publish” interface must produce both analytic/config and observed/realized outputs and return their difference delta_form_* (with units/dimensions).
• Dimensions & units (mandatory)
  Every field entering formulas declares unit(field) and dim(field) and must pass check_dim( y − f(x) ). Log↔linear conversions are annotated at meta.scale.note.
• Explicit measures & domains
  Path / time / frequency / set integrals must be explicit:

• Error semantics

• Minor upgrades must not change existing parameter names/defaults; new fields are optional and recorded in manifest.changelog.
• Canonicalization is used for signing/diff; provide cross-version diffs/migration scripts.
